Privacy Policy
Effective: September 24, 2026
This policy explains how St. George Homes Direct and its homegrown real estate team, affiliated with RE/MAX Associates, collect, use, and protect information when you search for Washington County homes, create an account, save a search, or contact us.
Information we collect
- Information you provide: your name, email address, phone number, username, password, communication preference, inquiry text, and any other information you choose to send.
- Search and account activity: saved homes, saved-search criteria, alert frequency, account preferences, and listing-detail pages viewed while signed in.
- Address search information: when you type a street address, we send that text in the body of a request to our first-party search service. That service may query the Utah Geospatial Resource Center address-points service and our MLS provider to return suggestions and connect an active listing. We do not place the typed address in the page URL or analytics events. Standard technical logs may still be processed as described below.
- Location information: when you choose “Use my location,” the app asks for location access while you use it. We use the device coordinates to center the map and create a nearby home-search boundary. We do not request or monitor background location. The boundary is sent to our first-party search service to return matching homes and is stored with your account only if you save that search.
- Notification information: when you choose to enable listing notifications, the iOS app receives an Apple Push Notification service device token and sends that token, along with the app platform, notification environment, app version, and build number, to our first-party account service. We use this information only to deliver and manage the listing notifications you request.
- First-party site analytics: session-level page activity, general traffic source, device category, communities and structured filters used, listing interactions, and completed site actions. We do not put free-form search text, contact details, inquiry messages, raw IP addresses, or full browser user-agent strings in the analytics event store.
- Payment-planning analytics: when you use the payment-planning tools, we retain the down-payment percentage, interest rate, loan term, and estimated monthly total with first-party product-analytics records so we can evaluate and improve the tool. We do not use these inputs to process a payment or apply for a loan.
- Follow Up Boss website activity: when enabled, our customer-relationship management tracking tag can associate page visits, listing pages, visit times, referral or marketing source, and similar website activity with a contact after that person identifies themselves on the site or follows a tracked link from an email. We use this activity to keep one service history and make follow-up more relevant. The tag is not used for third-party advertising.
- Technical and security information: IP address, browser and device information, timestamps, referring pages, and server logs used to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the site.
- Property information: listing data and media supplied by our MLS/data providers. Property information is not information we collect about you.
How we use information
We use information to operate home search and account features; measure traffic sources and the search-to-contact funnel; improve pages, filters, listings, and community content; sync favorites and saved searches; send alerts you request; remember recently viewed listing details; make first-party search recommendations more relevant; give our team useful context when follow-up is permitted; answer inquiries; maintain security; prevent abuse; diagnose problems; comply with law and MLS obligations; and keep records of consent and communications. Viewing a listing does not automatically enroll you in an email alert or create an agent notification.
When we share information
Your inquiry goes to the St. George Homes Direct team at RE/MAX Associates. We may also share information with vendors that help us provide hosting, WordPress functionality, customer-relationship management, email or requested text delivery, security, and MLS/data services; with professional advisers; or when required to comply with law, protect safety, investigate misuse, or complete a business transfer. We use Follow Up Boss as a customer-relationship management service provider. Follow Up Boss may receive the contact details and website activity described above so our team can respond, prioritize requested service, and maintain one conversation history. Vendors may process information only for the services they provide to us.
Requested and consented follow-up: when you request information, ask for a walk through, save a search, or consent to contact from the local team, we may send your contact information and relevant home-search or property context to Follow Up Boss, our service provider, so the team can respond and provide relevant direct real-estate follow-up. We do not authorize this data to be used for cross-company tracking.
Data will not be sold or shared with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for third-party cross-context behavioral advertising. If that practice changes, we will update this policy and provide any choice required by applicable law.
Mobile information and SMS consent are not shared for marketing. We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We may provide this information only to service providers that help us deliver and support the messages you requested, and those providers may use it only to perform those services.
Cookies and local storage
WordPress may use essential cookies for account sign-in, security, and site administration. The search experience may use your browser’s local storage to remember favorites and preferences, including before you create an account. Our first-party analytics uses session storage—not a cross-site advertising cookie—to distinguish activity during one browser session. The server immediately converts that random session value into a salted hash. When enabled, the Follow Up Boss tracking tag loads asynchronously from its tracking service and may use browser identifiers or storage to recognize a contact and record website activity. We keep the Pixel’s automatic form-capture lead creation disabled because our consent-aware forms send requested contact activity through our direct integration. First-party anonymous analytics and the Follow Up Boss tag are disabled when the browser reports Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track. Our hosting, security, email, font, or other service providers may receive standard technical information such as an IP address when your browser or our server connects to them.
Email, text, and phone communications
Saved search emails are sent at the frequency you choose. Sign in to change the frequency or turn an alert off.
Our weekly alert signup requests Monday price reduction and Wednesday new listing marketing emails. Selecting Agree and subscribe electronically records the email, call and text permission shown beside that button, including permission for automated real estate marketing calls and texts from RLP Real Estate PLLC, doing business as St. George Homes Direct, and Rylan Pinarelli at the number supplied. We confirm the email address before adding a new signup to the weekly audience. We retain the disclosure, consent time, contact details, optional homeownership answer and campaign source in WordPress and Follow Up Boss; Postmark delivers the emails. We honor existing delivery and communication restrictions. Reply STOP to stop texts, use an email unsubscribe link to stop emails, or contact Rylan to withdraw permission. Consent is not a condition of purchasing property, goods, or services. Other forms may offer separate optional phone or SMS choices; the disclosure on each form governs that request.
On our primary Contact form, providing a phone number is optional. If you provide a phone number and submit the form under the displayed call and text disclosure, RLP REAL ESTATE PLLC may call or text you about that specific request. Texts may include a walk-through confirmation and related scheduling or customer-care messages. Message frequency varies based on your requests and interactions; a walk-through request typically results in one to three messages.
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing property or receiving real estate services.
SMS terms and conditions
- We use SMS to confirm appointments, send reminders, and notify clients of schedule updates or important changes.
- You can cancel the SMS service at any time by texting STOP. After you send STOP, we will send a message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. You will no longer receive SMS messages from us unless you choose to join again through a new opt-in request.
- If you experience an issue with the messaging program, reply HELP for assistance or email rylan@stgeorgehomesdirect.com.
- Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Questions about your text or data plan should be directed to your wireless provider.
- For questions about privacy, read this Privacy Policy.
Retention and security
Raw first-party analytics events are automatically deleted after 180 days. Account, inquiry, consent, transaction, security, and real-estate service records may be retained longer when reasonably necessary to provide the requested service, maintain business and compliance records, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary by record and legal obligation. We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, but no online system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices and requests
You can manage favorites, saved searches, and alert frequency through your account. Subject to applicable law, you may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information we maintain about you, or withdraw a communication preference. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information when law or legitimate recordkeeping obligations require it.
You can turn listing notifications off in iOS Settings and manage saved-search alert preferences in your account. Disabling notifications stops delivery to that device. You may also ask us to remove a registered notification identifier through the privacy request method below.
Send privacy requests to rylan@stgeorgehomesdirect.com. We will review each request under the law that applies to it.
Children and policy changes
This site is intended for adults seeking real estate information and is not directed to children under 13. We may update this policy as the site, vendors, or legal requirements change. The effective date above will show the latest revision.
