This policy explains how St. George Homes Direct and its homegrown real estate team, affiliated with RE/MAX Associates, collect, use, and protect information when you search for Washington County homes, create an account, save a search, or contact us.

Information we collect

• Information you provide: your name, email address, phone number, username, password, communication preference, inquiry text, and any other information you choose to send.
• Search and account activity: saved homes, saved-search criteria, alert frequency, account preferences, and listing-detail pages viewed while signed in.
• Technical and security information: IP address, browser and device information, timestamps, referring pages, and server logs used to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the site.
• Property information: listing data and media supplied by our MLS/data providers. Property information is not information we collect about you.

How we use information

We use information to operate home search and account features; sync favorites and saved searches; send alerts you request; remember recently viewed listing details; make first-party search recommendations more relevant; give our team useful context when follow-up is permitted; answer inquiries; maintain security; prevent abuse; diagnose problems; comply with law and MLS obligations; and keep records of consent and communications. Viewing a listing does not automatically enroll you in an email alert.

When we share information

Your inquiry goes to the St. George Homes Direct team at RE/MAX Associates. We may also share information with vendors that help us provide hosting, WordPress functionality, email delivery, security, and MLS/data services; with professional advisers; or when required to comply with law, protect safety, investigate misuse, or complete a business transfer. Vendors may process information only for the services they provide to us.

We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for third-party cross-context behavioral advertising. If that practice changes, we will update this policy and provide any choice required by applicable law.

Cookies and local storage

WordPress may use essential cookies for account sign-in, security, and site administration. The search experience may use your browser’s local storage to remember favorites and preferences, including before you create an account. Our hosting, security, email, font, or other service providers may receive standard technical information such as an IP address when your browser or our server connects to them.

Email, text, and phone communications

Saved-search emails are sent only at the frequency you choose. Sign in to change the frequency or turn an alert off. If you ask us to reply by text or phone, we may respond using that method. Consent to receive a response is not a condition of purchasing property. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to a text to opt out of further texts about that request.

Retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the requested service, maintain business and compliance records, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary by record and legal obligation. We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, but no online system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your choices and requests

You can manage favorites, saved searches, and alert frequency through your account. Subject to applicable law, you may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information we maintain about you, or withdraw a communication preference. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information when law or legitimate recordkeeping obligations require it.

Children and policy changes

This site is intended for adults seeking real estate information and is not directed to children under 13. We may update this policy as the site, vendors, or legal requirements change. The effective date above will show the latest revision.
